Summer Camps

Everybody wants world peace, peace for creation, and peace for ourselves.
God’s working toward harmony all the time.
This summer, we’ll talk about how God uses us to bring peace in our little corners of planet Earth.
Give us a call at 901.878.1247 or email lucy@camppinecrest.org if you have any questions.
Registration Begins February 1

*Realizing that families have different abilities to pay, Pinecrest offers a voluntary three-tier fee program. You know your family’s financial situation better than we do. Simply choose the tier that is most suitable or comfortable for your family. All campers receive the same Pinecrest experience, no matter which amount you choose to pay. As you consider your family’s financial situation, please also consider the true cost of camp.

Join us Sunday, March 30 from 3-5 for Summer Camp Preview Day!
Visit Pinecrest to see what summer camp is all about! Meet the staff, check out the cabins, play on the playground, try a camp craft, explore a trail, and roast a marshmallow. Our camps serve rising 1st – 12th graders. Canteen will be open for merch and treats. Complete the scavenger hunt and you could win a Pinecrest shirt!
Free and open to anyone interested in camp.
Just show up, or RSVP: charity@camppinecrest.org

Leaders in Training
Campers tell us they can’t wait to come back as counselors. Here’s a camp to equip you with the practical and people skills necessary to answer your call to volunteer at Pinecrest and pass on your great experiences as a camper.

Mini Camp
Mini-Campers are excited to have a few nights of fun and adventure away from home. Sleeping in cabins with friends and highly trained, adoring counselors who ensure their safety makes for a great first camp experience! An experience so great that they can’t wait to return!

Taste of Camp
Not sure if your camper is ready for a full week of camp? Give Taste of Camp a try! Your camper will get to sleep in a cabin, do camp activities, and maybe decide that a full week is perfect for them!

Discovery Camps
Discovery Campers do ‘campy’ stuff: swim, arts and crafts, archery, biking, hiking, karaoke, night games…AND they go home more independent, more gregarious, more fit, more comfortable with the outdoors…just MORE. Our counselors ensure that campers make good friends, stay safe, learn who they are in God’s world, and have the best time.

Night Owl
Back by popular demand, NIGHT OWL CAMP is just what it sounds like, but get ready – staying up all night is harder than it looks. Do you have the stuff to last an hour longer each night, culminating in the most fun 8 hours you’ve had ever? Our days start a little later, too, and we have plenty of time for campy daylight activities as well.

Dangerous Girls/Boys
A July camp for added summer fun! Campers stay in gender specific groups throughout the week. Kids do some woodworking and building, make shelters, hike some cool trails, and other stuff they don’t normally get to do at home…bring on the power tools!

Middle School/High School
This camp sells out. Our middle schoolers like the extra freedom they get to plan their week. As a group, they meet to decide what activities they want to do. They might sleep a little late or stay up all night, but come daylight, they’re laughing and enjoying being around other great kids.

Outdoor Challenge
We’ll start at Pinecrest, then head to east TN and NC to paddle the Hiwassee, and do some hiking, rappelling, and other challenges mixed with whitewater rafting on the Nantahala. 20 campers only. Fills Fast!

Camp Celebration
A joyful and inclusive camp experience designed for teenagers and young adults with Down syndrome. Camp Celebration encourages confidence, connection, and creativity through outdoor activities, social engagement, and supportive friendships. Join us for an unforgettable week of adventure and belonging!

Every Child Should Experience Camp
We believe that every child should experience the powerful impact that summer camp at Pinecrest provides, regardless of income. For this reason, we also provide “Camperships” (our word for financial aid), so that no child is denied that experience because of financial hardship. If camp fees present a challenge for your family, please contact Lucy at lucy@camppinecrest.org.
As Christians, specifically Presbyterians steeped in the Reformed Protestant faith, and as followers of Jesus who included all people in the realm of God, we welcome absolutely everyone to Pinecrest.
